PMCG is providing trainings to the Finance Department of the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia to improve the overall financial management system through increased capacity.
The project objective is to train staff members of the MRA Finance Department and Procurement Unit in the following topics:
• Budget Code of Georgia;
• Tax and Customs Legislation in Georgia;
• Budget Classification of Georgia;
• State Procurement System in Georgia.
The project is supported by the Danish Refugee Council (DRC).
The training program aims to meet the training needs of the Finance Department staff as identified in the Training Needs Assessment document. This document has been developed by PMCG experts as one of the deliverables of the previous technical assistance project within the FORECAST program funded by USAID in June 2010.
