PMCG is implementing Food Safety Systems in Agara Sugar Company

PMCG and “Agara Sugar Company”, the only sugar processing enterprise in Georgia, signed the cooperation agreement according to which, PMCG’s certified auditor-consultants will:

• Provide consultations on food safety systems (HACCP);
• Conduct trainings for staff and prepare Food Safety Group;
• Implement Food Safety Systems in the company.

“Agara Sugar Company”, Ltd. was established in 2010, but the factory has been operating since 1932 and there are now more than 500 employees in the factory. The company is the only sugar processing enterprise in Georgia, producing white sugar according to international standards. “Agara Sugar Company”, Ltd, performs in accordance with ISO 9001:2000, International quality management standard.
