Assisting Data Exchange Agency (DEA) and Public Service Development Agency (PSDA) of Georgia to Develop Communication Strategy and Action Plan on E-signatures and E-seals

26.12.2018

We have recently finished collaborating with the Data Exchange Agency (DEA) and the Public Service Development Agency (PSDA) of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia in order to develop a communication strategy and action plan on e-signatures and e-seals in the country.

E-signatures and e-seals are key technical solutions, implemented to enrich e-services. However, the awareness of the existence and benefits of e-seals and e-signatures is significantly low in government institutions and among the public in Georgia.

Therefore, PMCG developed a communication strategy and action plan for e-signatures, e-seals and possibly e-authentication ensuring the provision of relevant information in different ways to achieve maximum awareness of potential users and increased usage.

“An effective communication strategy forges and maintains connections. The most basic dynamic in communication exists between the message and the audience. The elaborated communication strategy and action plan will allow a new government initiative on e-signatures and e-seals to work efficiently toward its goals,” explained Mr. Niko Tevdorashvili, Communications Consultant at PMCG.

The project was implemented by PMCG, as part of a consortium led by Tetra Tech ARD, under the USAID-funded “Good Governance Initiative (GGI).”
