PMCG’s Annual Scholarships Motivate Another Wave of Young Academic Talent
Continuing its annual tradition of the “Best Thesis Award,” PMCG recently awarded scholarships to bachelor’s degree students from the International School of Economics at Tbilisi State University (ISET) judged to be the authors of 2023’s best theses.
“My bachelor’s thesis was the final step in a four-year academic path centering on a topic that interested me, under the mentorship of incredible individuals, and motivated by intrinsic and extrinsic factors. The competitive aspect of this award was an additional incentive which helped me to transform the process into a pursuit of excellence, painstakingly honing every detail along the way. I am grateful for this experience and the amazing opportunity it provided me,”
said Dali Tsakadze, one of the awardees.
Crucially, PMCG abides by a firm belief that equipping youth with the necessary resources to gain more knowledge and further their education is an essential investment in ensuring an intelligent and proficient nation for the future. Moreover, PMCG acknowledges the key role of young people in a country’s development and, with this in mind, has long been implementing various activities to motivate and support them.
“The Best Thesis Award” is one of PMCG’s core initiatives designed to empower young learners and boost their motivation. Since 2021, the award has been established for bachelor’s degree students at ISET, offering the brightest young academic talents the chance to earn scholarships based on the excellence of their theses.
