Irakli Tskhelishvili

Irakli Tskhelishvili is an Acceleration Advisor, operating in the USAID/Georgia HICD Activity.

Tskhelishvili has years of experience of working in several USAID projects. From 2017 to 2020, he was engaged in the USAID-funded Regional Economic Governance Project as a Consultant. While in that position, he served a liaison role and monitored contracts with vendors, consultants, and subcontractors. Furthermore, he conducted due diligence on vendors, subcontractors, and beneficiaries. In addition, Tskhelishvili participated In the USAID Economic Security Program as a Procurement/Grants Officer. Here, he managed procurements for the program’s technical services and grant procurements, ensuring compliance with USAID regulations. From 2016 to 2017, he worked as Associate Project Administrator at Segura Consulting, where one of his key duties was USAID project budget development and management. Hence, Tskhelishvili has deep knowledge of USAID rules and regulations particularly with respect to administration, financial management, and procurement systems.

He holds a master’s degree in Finance and Management Consulting from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a PhD in Economics from Tbilisi State University.
