Giorgi Chkhartishvili
Giorgi Chkhartishvili is an environmental specialist with broad experience of managing environmental aspects of infrastructural projects throughout Georgia.
His activities in environmental protection have spanned numerous industries and areas, including solid waste management, energy efficiency and energy storage, waste separation, hydropower plant (HPP) construction and management, and communal infrastructure.
In particular, he has been instrumental in some key infrastructure projects while he has also led environmental protection management efforts such as the construction of manganese ore enrichment plants, Nenskra HPP, Kheludala 3 HPP, Dolra 3 HPP, Alpana HPP, and Oni HPP.
Currently, Chkhartishvili is involved in the Kvemo Kartli Waste Management Project with the Solid Waste Management Company of Georgia (SWMCG), and is preparing the Energy Storage and Green Hydrogen Sector Development Program in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
In his lengthy experience, he has obtained EU-compliant licenses including ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 9001:2015.
