The general objective of this project is to strengthen the institutional capacities of Akhaltsikhe Municipality to identify, analyze, and evaluate corruption risks effectively and take necessary measures to mitigate those risks.
As part of the USAID Good Governance Initiative (GGI), PMCG, as a subcontractor of Tetra Tech ARD, is performing the following tasks:
- Conducting an assessment of internal business processes related to corruption risk identification, analysis, evaluation, and mitigation in Akhaltsikhe Municipality and its subordinate agencies;
- Streamlining corruption risk assessment methodology in line with the existing needs and challenges in Akhaltsikhe Municipality;
- Supporting Akhaltsikhe Municipality in conducting a corruption risk assessment of the municipal system; and
- Developing a corruption risk assessment report for Akhaltsikhe Municipality and devising a set of recommendations.
The services provided will aid Akhaltsikhe Municipality to develop a subsequent assessment report of its internal business processes related to corruption risk identification, analysis, evaluation, and mitigation, as well as establishing sufficient risk assessment capacities and mechanisms.
