This initiative is part of the Georgia Relief and Recovery for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) project, aiming to boost micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Georgia by strengthening their access to finance. The project is supported by World Bank and financed by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), while being implemented by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development (MoESD), LEPL Enterprise Georgia, and the National Bank of Georgia (NBG).
Its main objectives are to offer technical support to MSMEs, focusing on COVID-proof measures, enhancing managerial capabilities, and facilitating digitalization. These will be achieved by establishing consulting centers (known as “Growth Hubs”) in various regions of Georgia, enabling the delivery of specific services to MSMEs at the local level.
In pursuit of the project objectives, PMCG is providing consulting services to local MSMEs in the following directions:
- Preparing selected businesses for the future;
- Business processes (e.g. production and value chain optimization); and
- Preparation of business plans;
- Increasing the motivation and efficiency of employees; and
- Improving the recruitment process.
