Kvemo Kartli Solid Waste Management Project

PMCG is implementing a stakeholder participation program (SPP) for the Kvemo Kartli Solid Waste Management Project. Its key objectives are to bolster public awareness and foster active engagement in the provision of solid waste services.

More specifically, PMCG is providing the following services:

• Development of an action plan corresponding to the project goals, which includes preparing a communication methodology taking into account local needs and encouraging public participation;
• Implementation of the action plan, which entails conducting outreach meetings and sectoral trainings on waste management, ensuring adequate media coverage, and preparing a study tour for Kvemo Kartli residents.

As a result of the SPP, residents’ awareness will increase, and they will benefit from environmentally friendly and non-hazardous waste management services, which will play a significant role in the enhanced health and overall development of the region.
