PMCG, as part of an international consortium led by International Consulting Expertise International Consulting Expertise European Economic Interest Group (ICE EEIG), is implementing the EU-funded “Human Rights and Democracy Support Measures for Uzbekistan” project.
The initiative aims to address the capacity gaps within civil society organizations (CSOs) in Uzbekistan, enabling them to become strong partners in promoting inclusive sustainable development, particularly in the areas of human rights, democracy, fundamental freedoms, and gender equality. The project also seeks to build the capacity of relevant personnel in managing and implementing donor-funded projects, undertaking gender-sensitive programs and initiatives, and conducting advocacy work.
Ultimately, the project is a pivotal and timely endeavor serving to bolster the capabilities of CSOs in Uzbekistan to contribute to the inclusive, sustainable, and democratic development of the country. It also focuses on boosting the organizational capacity of selected CSOs and activists to promote women’s rights and gender equality, and empowering human rights activists to advocate effectively and legally.
