The main objective of this project is to analyze the current state of the healthcare sector in Georgia and to develop recommendations for the Japan International Cooperation Agency’s (JICA) further engagement therewith.
More precisely, in the course of the project, PMCG will:
- Research and analyze the development policy of the healthcare sector;
- Collect and analyze public health statistical data, and assess the healthcare system including facilities and workers;
- Conduct mapping of development partners’ ongoing projects;
- Identify issues and priorities in the healthcare sector based on the analysis of collected data and information; and
- Develop recommendations for the JICA’s possible future cooperation in primary healthcare in rural areas.
