PMCG Shares Successful Experience in Implementing Policy and Institutional Reforms
On August 4-7, Central Eurasia Leadership Alliance (CELA) hosted the first ever Global Network Summit in Tbilisi. Policy and Management Consulting Group (PMCG), represented by General Director Aleksi Aleksishvili was honored to participate in the Summit and share his and their successful experience in implementing policy and institutional reforms.
Today, on August 7, in the framework of this significant event, Mr. Aleksishvili delivered a presentation and discussed PMCG’s sound experience based on Georgia’s successful reforms. He emphasized the importance of streamlining various components especially socio-economic, fiscal, tax and customs and administration. It is noteworthy that this experience was shared with a number of transitional countries such as Albania, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Moldova.
“The fact that Georgia is hosting an international summit with its emphatic content and variety of guests has great importance. We are always open to share our positive experience and I’d like to thank CELA for this opportunity”, said Mr. Aleksishvili.
The event brought together members of all four regional networks – Society of International Business Fellows (SIBF), CELA, Middle East Leadership Academy (MELA), South East Asia Leadership Academy (SEALA) and more than 1300 participants from USA, Lebanon, Kuwait, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain, Singapore, India, the Caucasus and Central Asia.
In the framework of an intensive four-day Summit, participants were given a chance to get acquainted with Georgian culture and history, as well as the ongoing political and economic reforms, opinions of local experts and the experience of international business leaders. Representatives of supreme legislative and executive branches of the Government of Georgia, prominent scientists and business leaders also spoke at the Summit.
