About the Role

PMCG is seeking an experienced Team Leader for the anticipated FCDO-funded Assistance for Modernisation and National Accountability Programme (AMANA) in Jordan.

What We’re Looking For

• Senior leadership and programme management experience, preferably managing donor-funded governance programmes of comparable scale and complexity
• Strong expertise in governance, political reform, institutional strengthening, and public-sector reform
• In-depth understanding of Jordan’s political and institutional context, including government institutions, Parliament, and political parties
• Experience leading complex, multi-workstream technical assistance programmes and multidisciplinary teams
• Proven experience engaging senior government counterparts, including ministers, parliamentary leadership, and heads of public institutions
• Strong political awareness, sound judgement, and the ability to operate effectively in politically sensitive environments
• A track record of supporting institutional and behavioural change
• Excellent stakeholder management, diplomacy, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Experience coordinating with governments, donors, civil society, and development partners
• Strong technical oversight and quality-assurance capabilities
• Ability to communicate programme progress and results at the outcome level and maintain strategic relationships with FCDO and other partners
• Availability to be based in Jordan or spend extended periods there
