Hosting Networking Lunch with UK Trade Mission to Georgia
On June 4, we hosted a networking lunch with the UK’s trade mission to Georgia.
The meeting served as an excellent opportunity for public and private institutions from Georgia and the UK to meet, establish connections and discuss possible collaboration.
The trade mission to Georgia was led by Mark Pritchard MP, the UK’s Trade and Investment Envoy to Georgia and Armenia, and was focused on financial, professional, and urban modernization. Various representatives of the UK’s business community were invited by the British Embassy in Tbilisi with the aim of introducing them to the local environment and potential opportunities.
The delegates also had an opportunity to meet with senior officials of the Government of Georgia, including from the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, and Tbilisi City Hall. In addition, representatives of local business associations and multilateral development banks, as well as investors, took part in a highly valuable event.
