The purpose of the evaluation is to support the selected countries to shape future policies, strategies, and capacity-building responses on cybercrime, cybersecurity, and electronic evidence in the near- and medium-term. The project is organized by CyberEast, funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe, and CybersecurityEast, funded by the European Union.
PMCG will conduct regional opinion surveys on cybercrime reporting and online security in Georgia, in order to gauge the attitudes, concerns, and expectations of individuals, enterprises, the general population, and professionals regarding cybercrime and cybersecurity topics as well as identifying the groups most vulnerable to cybercrime.
In order to achieve its objectives, PMCG will:
- Conduct quantitative research for two main target groups, namely individuals and enterprises;
- Conduct qualitative research for seven focus groups (FGs) designed to glean qualitative feedback from relevant stakeholders; and
- Prepare comprehensive research reports based on the quantitative and qualitative research results.
The survey results will be shared only with the covered countries to further contribute to other reporting efforts and to shape future policies, strategies, and capacity-building responses on cybercrime, cybersecurity, and electronic evidence in the near- and medium-term.
