Andrew T. Kaiser

Andrew T. Kaiser, Non-Executive Board Member at PMCG, brings more than 25 years of experience in international development, organizational transformation, entrepreneurship, business growth, and strategic advisory.

Mr. Kaiser is the founder of The Kaizen Company, which he built from a one-person start-up into an international development consulting firm with more than 225 employees, operations in over 25 countries, and annual revenues of approximately USD 48 million. Under his leadership, Kaizen became recognized for its work in organizational development, strategy, and innovation, and was named USAID’s 2016 Small Business of the Year, as well as a three-time Fast Company World Changing Innovator and three-time Inc. 5000 company.

In 2021, Mr. Kaiser led the sale of Kaizen to Tetra Tech, a NASDAQ-listed Fortune 1000 company, and subsequently continued to support the company’s growth, innovation, and strategic development. His career has included advising governments, development partners, social enterprises, and senior leaders across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and other emerging markets.

As a Non-Executive Board Member at PMCG, Mr. Kaiser provides senior-level strategic advice to the company’s leadership on institutional development, governance, partnerships, market positioning, and long-term growth. He also contributes perspectives on clients, donors, markets, sector trends, and opportunities to strengthen PMCG’s international network and visibility.

Alongside his international development work, Mr. Kaiser serves as MEIF Entrepreneurship and Innovation Chair and Associate Professor of Practice at Washington College, where he teaches innovation, entrepreneurship, international business, and social entrepreneurship as part of the newly established Warehime School of Business.

Mr. Kaiser holds an MBA from the Moore School of International Business at the University of South Carolina and a bachelor’s degree in Government and International Studies from the same university.
