PMCG, in collaboration with Arup Müh. ve Müş. Ltd. Şti. and City Institute Georgia (CIG), has recently started working on the Mukhrani Valley Spatial Development Plan (MVSDP). The project aims to promote sustainable development in a strategically significant area located between Tbilisi and major national infrastructure corridors. The project is funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), with the Spatial and Urban Development Agency (SUDA) serving as the primary client.

The project is structured in four phases: Research & Diagnosis, Vision & Strategy, Concept Development, and Final Plan Development. PMCG, Arup, and CIG combine international and local expertise to address the main challenges facing Mukhrani Valley and the surrounding territories.

The project aims to create a sustainable and inclusive development plan that leverages the region’s distinctive assets—such as its high-quality underground water reservoirs, productive agricultural land, and strong potential for agro-tourism.

Within the scope of the project, PMCG leads work on environmental assessment and climate resilience, legal and regulatory review, economic analysis, infrastructure and mobility planning, tourism development, and stakeholder engagement.

PMCG will also lead the preparation of the Priority Investment Plan (PIP), which will guide future land use, economic development, rural-urban integration, and infrastructure planning, supported by inclusive stakeholder participation from municipalities, civil society, and the private sector.

Through this integrated effort, the project aspires to unlock the full potential of Mukhrani Valley while ensuring the long-term well-being of its communities and natural resources.
