Iryna Khmilevska
Iryna Khmilevska is a highly experienced professional in land management and urban planning with over 20 years of expertise in the field. She specializes in land cadaster systems, urban planning documentation, and spatial development at the local level, having served five years in managerial roles.
Khmilevska has a deep understanding of Ukraine’s State Land Cadastre, particularly in land data management, including the creation of boundaries for settlements and territorial communities, and the normative monetary valuation of land.
In her current role as a Spatial Planning Expert in the USAID HOVERLA Activity, she assists in spatial planning and GIS activities, supports local governments in implementing spatial development grants, and provides training to enhance competencies of local and regional government bodies.
Previously, she worked as a State Cadastral Registrar, overseeing data entry and management for the State Land Cadastre, and providing consultations and training on land relations to local officials.
Khmilevska holds a specialist degree in Land Management and Cadastre from Lviv National Agricultural University and a junior specialist qualification from Zhytomyr Agricultural College. Meanwhile, she is fluent in Ukrainian and Russian, and competent in English.
