Gvantsa Lukava
Gvantsa Lukava is a stakeholder engagement expert with 10 years of experience in projects throughout Georgia.
Working on numerous projects with the ADB, Lukava ensures that key strategic infrastructural projects are carried out in strict compliance with relevant international standards and regulations. In this field, her tasks have included conducting social impact assessments of proposed projects, stakeholder identification and stakeholder mapping, as well as preparing, drafting, and composing necessary legislative documents such as land acquisition and resettlement plans and social due diligence reports. Furthermore, she has prepared safeguarding assessments, conducted negotiations and consultations with resettled/displaced populations, and forged meaningful relationships between and among all stakeholder groups.
Currently, Lukava is the resettlement expert for the “Preparing Energy Storage and Green Hydrogen Sector Development Program” in Georgia’s Mtskheta-Mtianeti region, as well as the Urban Services Improvement Investment Project in Samegrelo Zemo-Svaneti region, among others. The infrastructure projects In which Lukava is actively engaged deliver significant improvements to living standards of local populations, with stakeholder engagement helping to mitigate possible risks and conflicts, thereby strengthening long-term strategic planning.
