Ketevan Chubabria

Ms. Ketevan Chubabria, who serves as an Environmental, Health and Safety, and Social Safeguard Consultant at PMCG, is a high-profile professional with over 25 years of experience in the field.

She has significantly contributed to development in the spheres of health, safety, environment, and social safeguards while providing valued expertise to different donors and consulting companies, such as the Millennium Challenge Cooperation, British Petroleum, IRD Engineering, and SAFEGE – CONSULTING.

Previously, Ms. Chubabria also worked for the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia for 13 years. She worked as a senior specialist in the departments of Environmental Economics, Strategic Planning, and Sustainable Development, and also headed the Project Coordination Department.

She has been awarded several scholarships by various international institutions and is an associated member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) and a certified auditor (ISO 14001). Meanwhile, she has authored publications on the implementation of sustainable development principles in Georgia.

In parallel, she delivers lectures at San Diego State University (SDSU) Georgia.

Ms. Chubabria holds a master’s degree in European Spatial Planning and Regional Development from the Blekinge Institute of Technology, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Urban Planning at Tbilisi State University. She is fluent in Georgian, English and Russian.
