Mr. Otar Antia is a Private Sector Development Manager at PMCG, primarily responsible for building and maintaining strategic relations with local and international business associations, donor organizations and commercial financial institutions, as well as identifying potential investment sectors and opportunities, and elaborating strategies for export promotion.
Mr. Antia has accumulated 10 years of professional experience in private sector and SME development, fundraising, proposal-writing, economic policy and analysis, organizational development, and strategic planning.
Prior to joining our team, he worked as the Head of the Enterprise Development Department, responsible for monitoring the state program “Produce in Georgia,” identifying SMEs’ needs and designing support mechanisms oriented toward enhancing their access to finance, and developing various mechanisms to build their capacity. Moreover, Mr. Antia also held the position of Acting Head of Sustainable Development Department at the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
Meanwhile, he also serves as an invited lecturer at several higher educational institutions.
Mr. Antia holds an MSc in in Carbon Finance from the University of Edinburgh and an MBA with concentration in Energy Management from Grigol Robakidze University. He is fluent in Georgian, English and Russian.
