About the role

We are looking for talented individuals to join us and contribute to the continued success of our business development team. The role of the BD Officer is considered the key person supporting the team in expanding the international project portfolio through tender analysis.

The primary service area of the projects is expected to be in the fields of:

  • Economic Policy
  • Good Governance, Institutional Building, and Capacity Development
  • Monitoring & Evaluation. 


  • Leadership qualities
  • Critical, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to specifics of the work, and use ideas in an innovative or unexpected way
  • Ability to handle and interpret data
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
  • Outstanding ability to write in English

Required skills and Experience

  • Master’s degree preferably in Economics, Public Policy, and Public Administration
  • Knowledge of project management is desirable
  • Experience working in any of the below-listed institutions is desirable:
    • Public Sector institutions
    • International Development Partner Institutions or their funded programs
    • Development Consulting companies
    • Civil Society Organizations (e.g., Think Tanks, Policy Institutes, etc.)
  • Proficient computer skills using MS Word and Excel
  • Fluency in both oral and written English

Duties and responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of the Business Development Manager, the Officer will undertake the following tasks:

  • Search for new opportunities in regional and international markets
  • Market Analyze, processing the data, and preparing reports
  • Sign Up the Company on various business portals
  • Search for various tender announcements
  • Analyze their requirements and Prepare the go/no-go decision
  • Identify partner institutions and communicate with them if required
  • Support the company team in recruiting experts and consultants for the proposals/projects
  • Support the team in proposal preparation.
  • Support team to obtain and analyze required information for proposal writing,
  • Enter/ update the information available in the field of activity in the partners ‘and experts’ database
  • Participate in various business development activities.
  • Manage selected company projects if required
  • Perform the other tasks received from the Business Development Manager and Directors.
