PMCG is working on the World Bank’s Human Capital Project in order to support the Government of Georgia to prioritize human capital development in a sustainable way. Georgia is listed as an “Early Adopter” of this World Bank initiative, which aims to develop a Human Capital Index (HCI) in order to advocate for investment in the human capital of future generations. Georgia, along with other pilot countries, is building narratives and anticipating policy commitments ahead of the World Bank Group’s annual meeting in October 2018.

PMC Research is working on a country note on the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) in the South Caucasus (Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan) under the Emerging Markets Forum project on the BRI.
The aim of the project is to study the impact of the BRI on the countries of Central Asia and the South Caucasus (CASC) and ascertain how these countries individually and through regional cooperative efforts can maximize the benefits of the BRI and manage any potential risks.

The aim of the research is to study the challenges facing SMEs in Georgia in terms of access to finance, which will be conducted as part of the project “Leveraging SME Finance through Value Chains in Georgia”, supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) and the CAREC Institute (CI).
The paper will be included in the ADBI’s and CI’s working papers and will be published as a separate chapter in a book jointly published by the ADB, the ADB and the CI.
