Economic Prosperity Initiative (EPI)

PMCG has joined the USAID large-scale Economic Prosperity Initiative (EPI) project which is implemented by the team of international and local consulting companies led by Deloitte. The project aims to improve enterprise, industry and country-level competitiveness by identifying and targeting key external and internal factors to enhance the growth rates and productivity of enterprises in the economy, thereby enhancing the economic well-being of workers in the economy.

According to the Law on Lobbying Activities, PMCG launched to lobby the Draft Law of Georgia on Accounting and Audit. The draft law was elaborated by Georgian Federation of Professional Accountants and Auditors (GFPAA), with support of the World Bank (WB) and International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). PMCG promoted the adoption of the law on “Accounting and Audit” by the parliament.
